Potet comprises of a group of farm buildings in a rural and peaceful setting on approximately three acres of grounds near the river Vendee. One of the buildings has been converted into a Gite, La Maison Jaune, which keeps much of the original character. It has 5 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge and sleeps twelve, but during the low season, if required, it can be divided and let for four people, or for six to eight people. Within the grounds is a spacious (12m x 6m) heated salt water swimming pool, a table tennis area, swings and slide and a covered seating area by the pool.

Potet caters for children of all ages with table tennis and swings and a slide by the pool.

Potet is situated approximately five minutes drive from St Hilaire des Loges, which has a number of small shops. There is a beach area on the river Vendee, which is nearby and is suitable for children, it has a water slide, pedaloes and canoes and is manned by lifeguards.
The nearest large town, Fontenay Le Comte, is within easy reach (approximately 15 minute drive). There are numerous areas to visit such as the Forest and Lakes of Mervent the Marais Poitevin and La Rochelle, which are detailed on the attached page. It is a quiet area of France with walking, cycling and boating nearby.
