Fishing – Available at Pescalis in Moncoutant, or sea fishing from La Rochelle, or with a pass from the Marie on the Vendee River a few minutes walk from La Maison Jaune.

Boating and boat trips – around the Marais Poitevin and from La Rochelle.

Walking – in the forest of Mervent, where there are a number of marked paths, or around the towns and villages of the Vendee.

Swimming – at the farmhouse, in the sea or in the indoor/outdoor pool in Fontenay.

Adventure playground – in the forest of Mervent.

Karting – on the outskirts of Fontenay Le Comte.

Horse riding – just outside St Hilaire des Loges.
